eMasters is a unique two-year program designed exclusively for early career professionals, enabling them with relevant expertise to stay agile and relevant in a fast-changing technology-dominated world.

The program participants will learn a project-centric curriculum in an environment akin to a corporate one. It helps aspirants stay abreast with the latest trends and developments in the tech industry, including new programming languages, technologies, and frameworks.

Unlike regular programs, eMasters combines self-paced learning and weekend-only LIVE project-centric sessions coupled with weekly assessments, capstones, and IIIT-H campus visits. Note that eMasters are completely course-based with no thesis requirement.

Computer Science - Foundation
Get introduced to computer science fundamentals alongside other concepts, including data structures and algorithms and data science foundations.

Computer Science - Advanced
Broaden your knowledge of cutting-edge areas in computing and also learn in depth about databases and advanced algorithms.

No. You need not quit the job to pursue the IIIT-H eMasters Program. This is an executively-friendly program where you can pursue learning without affecting your work life. Participants will be provided with pre-recorded sessions which they can watch at their own pace. However, weekly assessments will be conducted to evaluate participants’ understanding of the topic. There will be weekend-only LIVE sessions dedicated to doubt-solving and working on projects. They are critical, so they are arranged during the weekend to ensure it does not impact your weekday work schedule.

Yes, IIIT-H will award the eMasters degree to the participants who have successfully completed the program requirements.

After completing the program, you will become a part of the prestigious IIIT-H alumni network with access to all the alumni privileges.

Program participants get several career advancement and networking opportunities. Apart from an illustrious peer group of professionals, practitioners, and researchers, the program participants get access to a strong IIIT-H alumni network. Plus, they can access the IIIT-H placement cell support.

Each module will consist of synchronous and asynchronous learning components. Asynchronous learning, including recorded videos, reading material etc., will be shared during the weekdays, whereas synchronous learning (projects, doubt-solving) via LIVE interactive sessions will be conducted during weekends.

All live interactive sessions will be held during the weekends. The exact schedule for the live interactive sessions for each module will be announced closer to the start of the module.

Final exams for each module will be conducted at select examination centers across India. If the exams are conducted online, these will be proctored remotely. Exact details about the final exams will be shared closer to the start of the respective modules.

The final exams will be conducted in at least 10 cities across India. These include New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Guwahati. Additional centers may be added subject to the number of participants from a particular region.

The campus visit is a crucial part of this program. It facilitates an in-class experience of face-to-face sessions. Participants not only get an opportunity to meet the faculty members and network amongst themselves, but they also get a chance to immerse themselves in the rich academic environment of the institution. They can avail the library facilities during their stay and use the study areas and social spaces open to the entire community on campus.

You will have to pay ₹ 60,000 within 1 week of selection to block your seat in the eMasters Program. The balance fee can be paid as per the schedule available on the program page.

Shortlisting of candidates will be based on certain minimum criteria covering their overall academic performance and professional experience. This may be followed by an interview if needed, which will be conducted by the program coordinators.

The curriculum is designed and delivered by the faculty of IIIT Hyderabad.

Do not worry. In case you miss a session, you will be given access to view the recorded video of the session. However, attendance would not be considered for watching the recorded archive.

You will receive mentorship and career support through the IIIT-H placement cell.
